EdgeWalk at Toronto Ontario’s CN Tower
I don’t have a terrifying fear of heights, I would say it’s more of a “healthy” fear of heights, but even I am not sure I could do this. Toronto has been a place I have wanted to visit for a long time, mostly to see Niagara Falls though, not so much to stand atop the iconic CN Tower, with the full possibility of plummeting to my death..lol…. but hey, plans change, and although this looks risky, it looks pretty thrilling as well, and really… what’s life without a few thrills??
Strapped to a safety rail via a rolling harness system, groups of 6 are led out by trained EdgeWalk guides onto the 1.5 meter ledge encircling the tower. As if just being out there isn’t enough to make you wet your pants, guests are pushed to their limits, being invited to lean over the side of Toronto’s CN Tower at a staggering height of 1,168 ft. above the ground! Open to ages 13 to 90 Edge walk is sure to pacify even the craziest of thrill seeker. In 2011, the Guinness Book of World Records added EdgeWalk as the highest external walk on a building.
Do you think you could EdgeWalk???

Oh my goodness, no I couldn’t edge walk! I don’t think they were doing the walk last time I was in Toronto (at least a decade ago), but going to the top of the CN tower wasn’t something I could even handle anyway! I’m not exactly scared of heights (I love flying- both fixed wing and helo), but I’ve had recurring nightmares of falling from heights since I was a kid.
I “think” I could do it… I dont have a crazy fear of heights either… but i certainly have a healthy respect of the fact that we dont bounce well..lol.. But as I said yesterday to someone, its easy for me to say i could do it, when im sitting here in front of my computer. Maybe something like that could cure your fear of falling???
I love reading your posts I stop in ever so often to check them out and I have to say I really love what you have done with the place girl….. KEEP IT UP YOU’RE FABULOUS!
LOL! Thanks! Tis only the beginning….problem is, i have to learn how to actually do anything before I can DO IT! lol.. takes time for my brain
